Orange Trinidad Scorpion
By Jim (Habanero) Duffy
Orange Trinidad Scorpion (Capsicum Chinense)
An orange version that gets a small tail or no tail at all. This variety was found in a growing field of Scorpions in Europe.
Maybe crossed with Congo Yellow Trinidadn in a previous generation because pods get large.
Heat is much lower than red Scorpion but still has a Scorpion taste. These don’t get to look like true Scorpions.
At Refining Fire Chiles we isolate our seed production plants to avoid
cross-pollination with other chile species. If you want to try it yourself contact us for seeds, plants (March-August) and fresh chiles (September).
We also grow the Bhut Jolokia, Naga Morich, Chocolate Habanero and many other Hot Chile Pepper plant
varieties!
